The Hills are Alive with Planting!

Karen McGann and Becca Jewell are the co-chairs of the landscape committee.
More than 30 school and neighborhood families made gifts to the
effort in addition to the donations above.

Rug is Unifying Element at Eastridge

The rug above has helped some former Hawthorne students make a stronger connection to Eastridge while remembering the school that closed last spring. Hawthorne gave Eastridge the rug among many items to be used at our school. We have about 30 former Hawthorne students attending Eastridge this year. Mr. Reeker requested the rug for his art room, since all students pass through art class each week. The rug was in the Hawthorne Media Center. Mr. Reeker spent time highlighting the rug with all students and thanking the former Hawthorne students for bringing such a special gift from their school. As with all the new students, we are so happy to have this rug as part of our Eastridge community.
