Eastridge Banner Complete
Each year, LPS Elementary Schools create a large canvas banner to travel around Lincoln businesses for a year. The theme of Eastridge's banner is "Contour Line Drawing" and features painted blocks and sponged lines done by 4th and 5th graders. The banner is hanging outside the art room through Friday, February 12.

Art on Exhibit for Youth Art Month
Two Eastridge students will have art on display at the Nebraska State Office Building during the month of March which is Youth Art Month. Richard L. (Kindergarten) and Nicole H. (3rd) each have a piece of art in the show; the artists will be honored at the State Capitol during a reception on March 13. Congratulations Richard and Nicole! The art can be found outside the office displayed on the carpet wall through Friday, February 12.

Teacher PLC Days are the last Tuesday of each month in which students are in attendance. Students are dismissed at 2:18 on the following days to facilitate teacher meetings.

Safety is a priority at our school, so all visitors must check in with Mrs. Ramsey at the front desk when entering Eastridge and wear a visitor badge, no matter the reason for the visit or for what length of time.
Also, ONLY the front door is accessible for visitors during school hours. All other doors are locked.

Tough Competition in 2nd Game
The staff volleyball team hit the courts Friday, February 5 against Riley. Against some seasoned volleyball players from Riley, the team did what it could but walked away 0-3. Next week is a bye week. The team faces Lakeview on February 19.
